Children's Ministry

Sunday School

We offer Sunday School during the 10:00 am services for children ages 3 to 12 years old, taught by a rotation of teachers from our community. After joining the start of the church service and participating in the Children's Time, children are invited to the Sunday School room for class during the rest of the service. Sunday School runs September through June.

Vacation Bible Camp

Each summer features a week of smiles and fun as we present Vacation Bible School! This five-day program entails skits, games, crafts, snacks, songs, and intentional activities for children to enjoy and learn from. VBS is open to all children from Preschool to Grade 6.

Our program for 2026 is called Creation Care Quest: Learning to Love Our World! Children will reflect on the Creation story in the Bible, learn ways to care for the Earth, and hear how people in different parts of the world care for creation. VBS 2026 will run from 9:00 AM – Noon on July 6 through 10.

Click here to register online for VBC 2026! Paper registration forms are available at the church. If you're interested in volunteering and helping to make the event happen, click here to share your interest and availability. All are welcome, and All means All!

Benefits of Children’s Ministry in Keeping Faith

A children’s ministry plays a vital role in nurturing faith from a young age, creating a foundation that can guide kids throughout their lives. Through engaging activities, stories, and age-appropriate lessons, children’s ministry introduces the values and teachings of faith in a way kids can understand and cherish. By creating a community where children feel loved, supported, and encouraged, the ministry helps them develop a sense of belonging and purpose. This early faith education not only fosters moral growth but also builds lasting spiritual habits that strengthen family bonds and cultivate a life rooted in hope, kindness, and love.
