A BOOK STUDY AND DISCUSSION – LIKELY SOME PONDERING AS WELL!
A new Book Study will begin on Wednesday September 13, 7:00 pm at the church library. We will read and discuss together Belonging – 5 Keys to Unlock Your Potential as a Disciple – author is Karoline M Lewis. A short book of only 106 pages but packed full of thoughts and learnings all based on the story of Jesus and the Samaritan Woman at the Well. The story can be found in John 4:1-42. Read through those verses for good preparation.
Everyone is welcome to join - whether you have been part of a book study at Holy Spirit before or not. There is a Prologue, and Introduction and then five chapters with these titles: Discomfort; Wonder; Trust; Letting Go and Witness. Likely good thoughts/words for us at HSLC to consider at this time in our history! Books are not ordered so you must order your own copy. Amazon.ca has the book and I am sure other places as well.
