For in hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what is seen? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience. Romans 8:24-25
The funeral/memorial service is one that reminds us of God’s place in our lives. We proclaim the promises of hope and love for all God’s people. It is a special time to remind one another of God’s promises to us after death.
Making final preparations for someone who has died is an expression of love and care. The staff of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church are here to assist you in planning a service that both honours God and is meaningful for you. Funeral or Memorial services are lead by one of our pastors, who are also available to lead services off-site.
There are some associated costs for funerals depending on the space(s) required, mileage for off-site services and honorariums for the pastor(s). Livestream capability is possible for an extra cost and depending on tech availability. Please inquire with us directly for more information.
